The Worlds of Azazel: Balanced System

This is the image that best shows the configuation of the magical systems, the planetary relationships, the seats of religion and power, as well as the chemistry/alchemy unique to the book I am writing. This image represents the "balanced" configuration of the system, as during the time period of the book, the system is out of balance, and the colors are no longer equally distributed.

In the worlds that I have created in the book, the story takes place in a system that is too large to be considered a normal solar system (also lacking a star at the center...so, that probably technically disqualifies it as well.) and much too small (and seemingly too empty) to be considered a galaxy. Further complicating its proper nomenclature that, the three planets currently remaining in the system (much has changed in the system's configuration since its creation) follow a torodial path through the system (like three marbles spinning around and through a donut, yet remaining the same ratio apart from each other, and remaining on a similar plane). So, the the black planet, the blue planet, and the white planet are all that remain at the start of the story, and their domain is represented by the metallic lines on the above image, and their seats of power are at their respective colors. The other three colors are hidden at the moment, so this image represents a time when there were six worlds, all balanced around a seventh sun-like planet. More on this later! It was too long to explain here, so I decided to go write a novel about it.

Hexagram Grid within the Flower of life,
with superimposed 3-dimensional cube path
(not a title really, just a description of what is within the image)

INSTRUCTIONS (really?):
What makes this image so much fun to stare into (and you can do the same with the regular flower of life image as well) is the implied 3-d cube that arises when you look at the 60 degree lines that come from the center of the image. If you notice, there are six lines that radiate out from the center of the flower of life (http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/0/08/Flower-of-Life-small.svg/2000px-Flower-of-Life-small.svg.png) and that gives the appearance of the implied Z axis. When you take that information in your mind, and move from the corners, the cube arises naturally from the image! In this case, I have highlighted the path to follow with your eyes. This image is often used in mediation, as it represents the journey from outer to inner spaces, in particular, by moving up and down through dimensions. If you follow the pathway slowly from the top of this image, you will begin to see nested cubes, and will be able to "travel" to the inner spaces of the image. Enjoy!

Tree of Life within the Flower of Life

This is how most of my creations begin, I literally create them from scratch with a compass and ruler, and nothing else. I don't use a protractor, as I love the pure ancient practice of using the circle and the line to find exactly where your shapes should be.

Embedded inside of the flower of life is the tree of life, or the Sephirot in Kabbalah.

This image can be found within one of the others in this project, and is one of the few images that actually use straight lines.

The majority of these images use only circles, overlaid in a specific way, and that gives the illusion of straight lines within the spaces that form inside the image.

There is much more to come, but if you have any questions, please email me at shlomo@outrightmusic.com and I will gladly answer them for you, and will include the answers with the image for future gazers.

Enjoy the rest!
